Use slabs, coils, and pinching, to build drinking vessels, bowls, platters, vases, planters, and more. Includes one 25 lb. bag of clay. Tools available to share, or you can buy your own set on Amazon here or at the studio for $20. I recommended an apron and hand towel.
Learn how to use the pottery wheel to make your own ceramics. If you are a beginner you will learn the basics of throwing and trimming on the wheel, followed by glazing, to make your own food-safe mugs, bowls, and more! No experience is necessary.
More advanced students may build on their skills with more advanced techniques. Refine wheel throwing skills and add elements such as lids, handles, decoration, or work on larger pieces. Our mini-classes and workshops offer step-by-step guidance on a specific project led by the instructor. Mini-classes meet twice a month with the first session focusing on building and the second session focusing on glazeing . Workshops combine both steps in a single session. All materials are provided. After firing, your finished piece will be ready for pick-up. All needed materials and tools are provided. No experience is necessary. I recommend an apron.
